Give Back in Bago

Bringing Generosity of Spirit in Winnebago, NE

We have all heard the expression have an "Attitude of Gratitude." That sounds nice, but what does it mean?

Making Thank You and Sharing a Habit

An Attitude of Gratitude centers on choosing to be intentional creating a regular habit of expressing appreciation for all different parts of life, no matter how small. The concept being that if you concentrate on what you have, you'll always feel that you have more. If you concentrate on what you don't have, you'll always feel that you never have enough.

Gratitude is Not Easy, But Worth It

Life can be hard, especially this time of year, it can be even harder for our relatives who stuggle to survive and afford each day. When we are struggling it feels impossible to be grateful for what we do have. Enter choosing an attitude of gratitude: it sounds silly or simple but research shows that people who are intentional about developing this - often difficult to create - positive, glass half-full mindset see a dramatic impact on their overall mental health, which in turn elevates their lives.

Opportunities to Give Thanks

It's the season of giving and you might find yourself wondering what you can do to give back to the Winnebago community. Being generous doesn't have to mean spending money, is it something you can do with exactly what you have in your pockets today.
