We have a team of Patient Financial Counselors that ensures you have access to every healthcare resource available to you while helping strengthen the health system serving our community.
Understanding Your Eligibility
Our team is responsible for working directly with patients to help understand what benefits they qualify for, apply/enroll in a coverage plan, or request medical support resources.
- Health Insurance can be complex, you do not need to navigate it alone. WCHS is NOT an insurance company, but we are here to help you explore your options with Medicaid, Medicare, or Private Insurance.
- Application assistance for care not covered including Supplemental Security Income, Social Security, and Disability Applications.
Patient Portal Support:
As a patient you have a right to access and manage your medical record. Our team helps provide assistance to our relatives seeking to view their online Winnhealth Patient Portal in real time the patient portal allows our relatives to request an appointment, view/update charts, direct message their providers, and can even be set up to provide proxy access for parents/guardians.
Does healthcare insurance help our community?
Using available coverage helps create and sustain the healthcare resources in our community. In addition to helping us preserve limited Tribal & Purchased Referred Care resources, this coverage creates an Independent Source of Income that allows us to maintain and expand local services, upgrade equipment and technology, helping us preserve limited Tribal & Purchased Referred Care resources.
