WPHD Accreditation Community Celebration

Join us as we celebrate a historic milestone for our community! The Winnebago Public Health Department has officially achieved National Public Health Accreditation, becoming only the 8th tribal health department across Indian Country to achieve this honor.

This achievement is the result of several years of hard work, collaboration, and dedication to improving the health and well-being of the Winnebago community. Accreditation through the Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB) demonstrates that WPHD meets the highest national standards in delivering essential public health services, building community partnerships, and ensuring accountability for future generations.

The celebration will be streamed live on the KWTN The Big Voice and include remarks from leaders, recognition of the Public Health team, and time to gather as a community to honor this accomplishment together.
