Join the Winnebago Health Foundation for "An Evening of Culture" featuring Indigenous dining & entertainment. This evening event at the Country Celebrations Event Center is a fundraiser for "Food is Medicine," a critical component of WCHS's Master Facilites Plan.
It will be a night filled with delicious Native food and drink; a silent auction of native-focused arts, crafts, and services; and a captivating dance performance by Many Moccasins Dance Troupe.
Get ready to immerse yourself in the vibrant culture and history of the Ho-Chunk (Winnebago) people and the Winnebago Comprehensive Healthcare System.

Our Performers |
Many Moccasins Dance Troupe is an ensemble of professional Native American performers who utilize Traditional Native American dance to entertain, educate, and uplift audiences around the world. The dance troupe has performed in countries such as Canada, Germany, Lithuania, Denmark, South Korea, Russia, and the most recent, Saudi Arabia. They are known for their new and more contemporary approach to Native American theater and have specialized in Native entertainment for many years. Founded in 2001, and based out of Winnebago Nebraska, the Many Moccasins Dance Troupe was originally created to give audiences exposure to a wide range of Native American dance and education. From sold-out theatrical shows to motivational presentations, the Many Moccasins also provides classroom setting workshops that include interactive learning and performing.

Our Food |
Our caterer is a Native-owned business, Warrior Palate. Chef Anthony Warrior will prepare a unique custom menu designed to delight your senses and provide a meal that is native to the Ho-chunks (Winnebago) people and other Indigenous tribes. It will include locally sourced ingredients combined to create a buffet comprising farm-to-market fresh foods that reflect on Indigenous traditions in contemporary ways.

Auction items at our event will include a variety of locally made and locally sourced Indigenous items or gifts from Native-owned businesses and Native arts, crafts, and services. More information coming soon as well as an option to explore and bid on online items in advance!
