Ho-Chunk Language Class for Elders

The HoChunk Renaissance Program offers a weekly Ho-Chunk Language Class to our community elders (55+). Be apart of purserving our language for the next seven generations of Hocaks! 

About the Program & Classes: 

The HoChunk Renaissance Program continues to strive to revitalize and strengthen the HoChunk language at local educational facilities on the Reservation. The Program also has been doing work in preservation, event planning, curriculum development, cultural events, and daily educational classes. The program serves as a resource to Tribal members both on and off the reservation by providing social media, language apps, language materials, newsletters, and publications for the Tribal newspaper. The program is continuously providing language awareness programming and opportunities for the Winnebago Tribal community. Details are announced at appropriate times throughout the year.
